Obsidian Vault was built from a simple idea: to create something that truly reflects the way we experience the Pokémon hobby.

Like many collectors, we started with passion. The nostalgia, the excitement of opening sealed product, the hunt for the right card, the satisfaction of finding a piece we had been chasing for a long time, the energy of trades, card shows, and conversations between collectors. But over time, my partner and I realized that something was often missing from the experience offered by the market: more consistency, more care, more presentation, and above all, a more complete collector-focused approach.

That is what pushed us to launch Obsidian Vault.

From the very beginning, our goal was never just to sell cards. We wanted to build a brand that reflects a broader vision of the hobby — one that understands the emotional value, visual appeal, and market significance of a collection. A brand designed for collectors who want more than a simple transaction. A brand that understands the importance of sourcing well, presenting well, protecting well, and giving every piece the attention it deserves.

Obsidian Vault was built around that idea: offering a more premium, refined, and complete experience in the world of Pokémon cards.

We specialize in singles, graded cards, sealed products, Japanese import opportunities, and collector-focused pieces with strong appeal. We actively follow the market, source inventory consistently, attend events, host live shows, and continue to build new services around the real needs of collectors. Whether it is finding a specific card, sourcing a Japanese product, protecting a slab, ordering a custom binder, or simply discovering a new collectible piece, our goal is to become a trusted name in this space.

What drives us is both the hunt and the build.

The hunt, because we genuinely love finding strong opportunities, tracking down rare cards, identifying standout pieces, and making sought-after items more accessible to collectors.

The build, because we do not just want to operate in the hobby — we want to create something bigger around it. A real brand. A real community. A real experience.

We also believe that the hobby deserves to be lived differently. Not only behind a screen or through purely transactional interactions, but as a complete world where passion, presentation, strategy, community, and creativity come together. That is why we care so much about the image of the brand, the events we build, the partnerships we develop, the content we create, and the overall quality of what we offer. Every detail matters. Every product, every service, and every interaction should reinforce that vision.

Long term, our ambition is clear: to make Obsidian Vault a recognized name in the world of Pokémon and premium collectibles. A brand capable of offering cards, sealed product, sourcing, custom services, protection solutions, accessories, events, and a true experience built around the modern collector.

We are still at the beginning, but the vision is big.

Obsidian Vault stands for the idea that a collection deserves more than just a purchase. It deserves attention, research, protection, presentation, and a real understanding of what makes it special.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
